My Story
Hi and Welcome! I am Jodi, but in the Scentsy World, I go by Witty Whiffer, because I am quick witted and have a serious Scentsy Washer Whiff addiction.
I am currently having a left-of-field career change from Admin, HR, Sales & Marketing, to become a Teachers Aide / Student Learning Support Officer (SLSO). And I really enjoy it! Especially the hours. Once I am finished studying, it will free up a lot of time for Scentsy, something else I love.
My husband and I have known each other since I was 13 (a long time), we have lived in Sydney, Brisbane, London, and are now back home on the Central Coast in NSW. We have four growing teen/tweens; a super friendly, badly trained pooch; two cats, and a trillion fish, one of who is called Fred, he's adopted (shhh).
I never signed up to SELL Scentsy. I joined to buy washer whiffs cheaper, because I did not think they had enough sales. You can imagine, with a busy household of 6, I do A LOT of washing! It is never something I enjoy, but my love-at-first-wash obsession makes the aftermath more enjoyable. My all-time favourite Washer Whiff fragrance is Black Raspberry Vanilla but I am currently cheating on her with ALL of the others! I am a washer whiff floozy - do not judge me!
I used Washer Whiffs for more than 5 years before I joined in February 2019. But I was NOT going to sell! Come Hell or High water! Joining allowed me to get paid to buy my favourite addictables. I was essentially saving money on the things I was buying anyway. Girl-Maths!
Buuuut, little did I know, my friends were already addicted too, and they told me I had to buy for them, so it would have been rude not to - right?
Before Scentsy, I did not realise I was missing something in myself. Life was always busy, but now I have a sense of purpose, something for me, that I can do well at if I choose to, because it is my business, I am my own boss, and I can fire myself whenever I want!
If you are keen to learn, you can always be learning something new. Since joining Scentsy, I have learnt all about social media marketing and a hundred other things (because I wanted to, not because I had to). I am more confident and have friends all over the world. Scentsy is my happy place.
Despite all of that, my FAVOURITE thing is sharing Scentsy with anyone who hasn't tried it before... seeing them get excited about the products just as I did, really gives me the warm fuzzies. And it reminds me why I love what I do.
